Re-introducing the Semi-Horned Oblong Versatile Eating Ladle, or as we like to call it, the S.H.O.V.E.L. This is not your run-of-the-mill spork (foon), folks! It also has a serrated knife, and a bottle cap opener, on a sturdy titanium body. Here's the best part: it's open-sourced. (No, we aren't joking.)
We want to show the world that OSHW is not just circuits and PCBs. The idea of open source can be applied to just about any product . This S.H.O.V.E.L. is intended as more of a figurehead example of open-sourcing EVERYTHING. In the end, we hope that open-sourcing doesn't stop with circuits, let alone a spork. The sky is the limit with OSHW. Think you can design a better S.H.O.V.E.L.? Go for it! Download the files below and make your own. "No patents pending."
Note: This version of the SparkFun S.H.O.V.E.L. does NOT come with a paracord. Check out our original version of the Semi-Horned Oblong Versatile Eating Ladle if you would like a version with an included cord.

I did not see anywhere in the description or datasheet...is this dishwasher safe? Any coating on the spoon or is it truly just pure titanium? Thanks!
I love this thing, and have taken it on a bunch of camping trips! It's proven useful for cutting apart coconuts, opening bearproof canisters, and more. Definitely worth its weight while backpacking :D
How much does the S.H.O.V.E.L. weigh?
Thanks for asking! The S.H.O.V.E.L. weighs about 0.08 Pounds or 36.3g.
