The power-management IC used on Raspberry Pi 5 integrates a real-time clock, and charging circuitry for a button cell which can power the clock while main power is disconnected.
Raspberry Pi offers a Panasonic ML-2020 Lithium Manganese Dioxide battery with a two-pin plug suitable for connection to the battery connector on the Raspberry Pi 5 PCB, and double-sided adhesive pad to attach it to the inside of a case or another convenient location.

No point of sending
No point of sending Pi5 RTC without Raspberry Pi5 first. Also you charged me 17+ dollars shipping after separating it out!
Exactly what I needed
Product reviews should be about the product, not some whiny rant about something completely irrelevant. This battery is exactly what I needed to provide RTC backup to my Raspberry Pi 5. It works exactly as described. I love how small it is and the included adhesive mounting pad was icing on the cake.
