SparkFun DataLogger IoT RFID Kit

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of RFID technology with the SparkFun DataLogger IoT RFID Kit, your key to unlocking the secrets of identification and data storage. This comprehensive kit empowers you to transform into an RFID enthusiast, equipping you with the tools to read RFID tags, collect data, and explore the possibilities of wireless communication.

This kit includes:

  • SparkFun DataLogger IoT: A powerful and easy-to-use data logger that can record data from a variety of sensors, including temperature, humidity, pressure, and GPS with plug-and-play capabilities.
  • SparkFun Qwiic Dynamic NFC/RFID Tag: This small board is a versatile tag that can be read and written to using both NFC and RFID, making it ideal for a variety of applications.
  • Flexible Qwiic Cable - 100mm: This kit includes a Qwiic cable 4-conductor cable with a 1mm JST termination that is designed to connect Qwiic enabled components together.
  • USB 3.1 Cable A to C - 3 Foot: This cable is used to connect the SparkFun DataLogger IoT to your computer for configuration and data transfer.

The SparkFun Qwiic Connect System is an ecosystem of I2C sensors, actuators, shields and cables that make prototyping faster and less prone to error. All Qwiic-enabled boards use a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector. This reduces the amount of required PCB space, and polarized connections mean you can’t hook it up wrong.

SparkFun DataLogger IoT RFID Kit Product Help and Resources

Core Skill: Programming

If a board needs code or communicates somehow, you're going to need to know how to program or interface with it. The programming skill is all about communication and code.

2 Programming

Skill Level: Rookie - You will need a better fundamental understand of what code is, and how it works. You will be using beginner-level software and development tools like Arduino. You will be dealing directly with code, but numerous examples and libraries are available. Sensors or shields will communicate with serial or TTL.
