This adhesive, omni-directional antenna is perfect for situations when you're trying to get a signal out from a transmitter that you've jammed down into an enclosure. Operating on the 2.4GHz band, it works great for WiFi, Bluetooth or ZigBee. Just connect the antenna using the attached U.FL connector and then peel and stick!

Good quality sticky antenna.
I purchased this to use with the WiFi Shield (WRL-13287 ROHS). This simply snaps onto the connector on the wifi shield and you're good to go. Have not had any issues with Wifi connectivity, works great.
I was using the Xbees with the 1mW antenna, and I was having some connectivity issues, I thought that by moving the antennas out of the box the problem would be solved, but instead I got zero connectivity. The documentation is horrible, so even though I tried to follow their mounting recommendations, I can't be sure I did it right.
Hello,
Sorry to hear about the issues with the antenna! Have you contacted our technical support @ techsupport@sparkfun.com ? They're pretty good and helping to figure out confusing datasheets or documentation, they might be able to help you get it working properly.
These antennas work great for extending the range of a particle photon.
I received it on time. No issues. It works.
I installed this on a Particle Photon I had in a location with poor WiFi reception in hopes that I would see a significant improvement. This antenna definitely helped, but poor reception is still poor reception, so you'll either want to find a longer cable to attach to this antenna (as the supplied cable is not terribly long), or just move your device somewhere where it can better reach the wireless network.
Also, you may have to press pretty hard to attach the U.FL connector; it "snaps" onto the mating connector on your device. Be gentle but firm, it may take a couple tries to get it lined up just right but you'll get it! Once it's attached it's a sturdy connection so it shouldn't fall off again.
Is range a function of the antenna or technology? Curious to know if this increases my range at all, or is range still limited by whether or not I use WiFi, Bluetooth Zigbee etc. This is assuming LOS is the same for all technologies.
FTW!!!!!!
Now, can you please supply one for Cell?
Do you have these for 900 MHz?
can i stick this onto your metal enclosure and expect it to work?
This should work with any 2.4Ghz device with a U.FL connector correct? I got to get one of these for my Spektrum remote control! The stock antenna is very annoying.
Great Product ! thanks Sparkfun
