SD cards are all over the place and they're great for storing large amounts of data. Why not take advantage by adding an SD socket to your next data heavy project. We use it on a whole bunch of our boards! The SD/MMC cards use a very simple SPI serial bus as well as a 4-bit proprietary bus.

I'm using the newest Eagle Library and it has only the old PRT-00136, can you update it please?
It should be updated now.
Do you know when these will be back in stock? Also I looked at the manufactures web site and could not find this part, however, they had a very similar part but pin 3 and CD looked to have been switched. Is that something that will show up here or will you be able to get the same part restocked?
Is this same holder used on Imp Breakout boards?
is this the slide in or click in?
anyone know if this will work to replace a broken card socket on a Raspberry Pi?
Did you find if this will repair a Pi? I'm looking for a replacement for a broken socket and would rather use this sturdier looking one than OEM "MULTICOMP - 412D02F-09PC003SV - RECEPTACLE, SD CARD, SMT". There is a nice video showing how to remove and replace the socket at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEmy0tapTsg
The SF eagle-library footprint is still incorrect.
Can anyone verify that this footprint is now correct?
FYI - It's updated in the Eagle 6 library, but not the older version.
