This is the same accessory cable found in the LIDAR-Lite v3. The LIDAR-Lite Accessory Cable is terminated with a simple 6-pin JST at one end and a bare wire pigtail at the other. You can use this cable as a replacement to the one you are currently using, as a backup in case of damage, or if you just need a second one.
The LIDAR-Lite Accessory Cable is 200mm (~7.8in) long with specific pin-outs found on the second page of the Operation & Technical Manual below.
This skill defines how difficult the soldering is on a particular product. It might be a couple simple solder joints, or require special reflow tools.
Skill Level: Noob - Some basic soldering is required, but it is limited to a just a few pins, basic through-hole soldering, and couple (if any) polarized components. A basic soldering iron is all you should need.

Cable has the correct mating connector for LIDAR-Lite. Bare wire leads were tinned. That was was a nice surprise, it saved some time with initial bread boarding. Wire diameter when tinned is a somewhat loose fit for standard breadboard however, so you may want to solder a breadboard pin onto the wire if you plan to use it that way.
@Sparkfun This doesn't seem to be a normal JST connector. Would you mind sharing the specific name or model number from the manufacturer? I've tried looking for this one and can't seem to find one just right. Thanks, N
Would this, by chance, be the same connector needed for the dust sensor?
