This is a 24W dual output switching power supply from Mean Well. This power supply is extremely reliable and able to output 15VDC at 0.8A. We've been testing this power supply for quite some time and can definitely attest to its might. Although this power supply doesn't have a slick metal case like its siblings, it still features short circuit, overload, and overvoltage protections.
This specific model is cooled by free air convection and operates at a temperature of -10°C to +60°C. Mean Well has really outdone themselves with their power supplies, which are high quality and should last for quite some time without any loss in reliability!
Whether it's for assembling a kit, hacking an enclosure, or creating your own parts; the DIY skill is all about knowing how to use tools and the techniques associated with them.
Skill Level: Noob - Basic assembly is required. You may need to provide your own basic tools like a screwdriver, hammer or scissors. Power tools or custom parts are not required. Instructions will be included and easy to follow. Sewing may be required, but only with included patterns.

If it requires power, you need to know how much, what all the pins do, and how to hook it up. You may need to reference datasheets, schematics, and know the ins and outs of electronics.
Skill Level: Experienced - You will need to consult a datasheet for calculations to determine a components output format, linearity, and do a little math to get what you need. You will be using a datasheet or schematic beyond basic pinouts.

I used this in a bench PSU project. Its small size made for an easy PSU enclosure.
The hazard warning is nice, but there doesn't appear to be another power supply that outputs a fixed +/-15v. So there may not be another choice.
