This is a through-hole 6-pin right-angle female header. This header connects perfectly with the 6-pin male header on Arduino Pros and LilyPad Main Boards.
Pins are spaced by 0.1".
This skill defines how difficult the soldering is on a particular product. It might be a couple simple solder joints, or require special reflow tools.
Skill Level: Noob - Some basic soldering is required, but it is limited to a just a few pins, basic through-hole soldering, and couple (if any) polarized components. A basic soldering iron is all you should need.

cant find it anywhere else, well i only looked at a few places, but sparkfun has it. very nice keep up the good work.
What's the connector called in the SFE Eagle Lib?
Where can I get a larger row (at least 32 pins) of these?
Do you sell the SMD female headers, like the one on the FTDI Basic Breakout?
Digikey has them, that's what I had to do...
An extra .45 cents because the pins are bent? Is there anything reason why you couldn't order the .50 cent straight pin version and bend the pins?
You also have to be careful that you don't end up snapping a pin by bending it. It can end up being a bigger hassle than it's worth.
I've done that sort of thing with male headers in a pinch, but it isn't ever pretty.
Will this fit in the 6 holes on the Triple Axis Accelerometer breakout? http://www.sparkfun.com/products/9269
Yes, it would.
