The Robo-CIRCLE is an enjoyable robotics kit for anyone looking to begin learning about the wonderful world of embedded electronics. The main component of this kit is the i-Box III - a compact-size programmable microcontroller board complete with motor drivers, LEDs, a speaker, memory and more.
With this kit, you'll be able to make a number of robots including: a line follower, a light follower and an object avoider.
Users can program the brain using either a graphical or text-based version of the LOGO programming language. A CDROM is included with installs for both versions of the LOGO language and a user's manual.
**Note: **We no longer stock this robot kit but we do have a couple left in stock which we're selling at a reduced price for a limited time. Get them while you can!

I need to built a robot for my school,
i wonder,
can i combine this robot with arduino parts?
I'm interested in this for my kids as an xmas present, but there is very little info here.... can you post the manual or something to give a little more insight into how it is programmed? Thanks!
would not give this to kids. it is a rather advanced kit. try the picaxe robot. it is easy to build and program.
What OS is the included software for? What [other?] development software can be used?
The software is written in Java so it can theoretically run on other platforms. I found more information about this kit here:
http://robosavvy.com/store/product_info.php/manufacturers_id/19/products_id/353
(from same manufacturer Inex, the controller i-box-3 is the same, the kit's components are slightly different and is called Robo-Box-3.0)
I'm unaware of any other development software that could be used but it works on Windows ME and later OS including Windows 7 here is the system requirements:
15mb of hard drive space
800x600 or 1024x768 resolution color monitor
Serial or USB Port
CD-ROM Drive or Internet Access
This looks good! I would buy it if it was cheaper and if there was a schmetic.
