As long as the HW is the same (which I guess is), have a look at https://github.com/fornellas/SFRGBLEDMatrix. I had a LOT of problems with the original firmware...
Can you provide the dimensions, it is hard to buy not knowing if it will fit.
Arduino library with temperature compensation support.
Arduino library for part #: NTCLE100E3103JB0. Works independently of VCC (eg. 3.3V or 5V).

Is 4096 enough? If not, you will have to buy some of this:

Here is another firmware to try out with the RGB Matrix:
It will allow 4096 colors, not only 255 as the v5 firmware of the article.
I had a lot of RF interference with my jumper wire, until I shielded and grounded the shield. Seems to be working now: the values won't change anymore as I get my hand closer to the wire.
Hello,
I developed an alternative firmware with new features:
The 255 colors limit was just a software limitation. I managed to squeeze 32768 colors, but the flickering was unacceptable. Perhaps with more code optimization, it can be done.
Please note however that input data format had to be changed. You now need 3 bytes for each 2 pixels (RRRRGGGG BBBBRRRR GGGGBBBB).
Download the firmware and Arduino library here.
Bye.
No public wish lists :(
