Weboide's advice is very true. The plastic nub used for the third wheel in the kit causes a lot of problems, including a sound much like fingernails on a chalkboard. The caster wheel solves the problem for a few extra dollars and attaches well with superglue or hot glue.
FYI, if you use this over I2C you will see in the schematic that the breakout board does not have pull-ups, so make sure to add your own (10K works great).
How flexible is the ribbon cable and attachments between the OLED and the breakout board? Is it safe to fold it over the breakout so they take up the same footprint?
I have had a lot of problems connecting to the HDMI and USB ports at the same time. The connectors on the two cables push against each other so much that the electrical connection is broken. Do you know of a good cable combo for using both ports at once?
Posted a tutorial showing how to control these with some shift registers: http://learnpic32.blogspot.com/2014/06/controlling-rgb-led-matrix-with-shift.html
Yes, mine came with a button pusher.
Does this case fit the Rev C?
A PTC is a non-linear thermistor, so it can, but its not great at it.
