Trying to reset the display, but I can't figure out what is meant by sending "<control>r". I've sent that but it does nothing. should it be: Serial.write(124); Serial.write('r'); or: Serial.print("<control>r"); seems to me the language of the datasheet is a bit confusing about what exactly should be sent.
THANK YOU!!
This part doesn't seem to be in the Eagle library.!!!
is the side-lighting bright enough to be seen in normal indoor light conditions?
What if the end is capped with a reflector?
I need a sensor for down to 10 microamps on a 0-5V system will this device work?
What is the highest sensitivity it can reach?
This you can only tell this wire is lit up if you are in the dark. It's really not very bright. It looks like I'll be abandoning this project.
Bummer!
I'm going to try something similar with Solid State Relays (SSRs). I selected these from digikey:
http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail&name=TLP176DF-ND
I'll post on how it turns out. I'm hoping that having the ground reference may alleviate some of the problems people are having. Unfortunately these ssrs are more expensive though. Bummer
I noticed that too. Looks like it should work as long as you leave a little of the transparent part intact.
yeah, i can't find it either
