Approx a week ago the question was asked if the TX data I/O is 5V tolerant. I do not see any definitive answers.
I think there is a typo in the paragraph regarding motors: "of a cheap brushless DC motor" should be "of a cheap bushed motor"
It might be usefull to include some circuit simulation.
I am relattvely new to Arduino. Where do I tell the I/O subsystems that the system clock is 8MHz? Currently I am fudging the baud setting.
Could you post some still photos of the completed dog collar. I have zero skills with sewing!!! Are both ends of the hoop & loop cut into two straps? Do you use traditional thread to attach the hook & loop to the collar for structural strength? What happens when the dog goes for a swim?

Does the location (high/middle/low) of the IMU matter? How about the alignment to the vertical axis?

I have one of the earlier models and it does work, just not to any of the clained perforamce levels. Perhaps Sparkfun Live could incorporate this device into a project where the real device get demonstarated.
Right idea. Wrong tool. Should be using a Nut Driver
What is the gender breakdown of the Ada Initiative staff?
I have an older 5V ProMini which came for free from Sparkfun a couple of moths ago. Similiar enough for this project?
No public wish lists :(
