Hey, I'm using this with the recommended EL Escudo Dos and 12v Wall Wart from Sparkfun and ran into some trouble. After trying multiple outlets with <1m of EL Wire, the MOSFET in the Inverter is burning out the inverter! I have ordered another just in case this is a fluke. I wondered if anyone would know what might be causing it. I thoroughly checked the Escudo for shorts and verified the output of the wall wart and the inverter were within the correct ranges. None of my EL wire lit up and none of the components on the Escudo produced any heat. Any ideas I could use to troubleshoot while I wait for the replacement?
